Brokerium is an independent project, built and maintained by Bulat Valiev.
The project
Brokerium started from the routine work of running Apache Kafka clusters: changing the controller quorum, replacing brokers, rebalancing and upgrading, usually with scripts and runbooks. Brokerium turns that work into planned, previewed and audited operations, and every scenario it offers runs as an automated test against real clusters.
The code is public on GitHub. Releases, the roadmap and the changelog are there too.
How it is run
One maintainer reviews every change and decides what is built. Bug reports and feature requests are welcome as issues; pull requests are welcome with a signed contributor license agreement. See CONTRIBUTING and GOVERNANCE.
